Birthdays, Small Worlds, and Guy Fieris
After dropping the birthday girl off at work, Emmett and I went down to Anaheim to meet up with the Lew clan for another day of Disney fun (everyone was jealous of Emmett’s NINE trips to Disneyland).
Among the more memorable things about this trip: Guy Fieri from Food Network was there filming a special!!!
Guy Fieri is this guy (host of Drive-Ins, Diners and Dives):
And here he is at Disneyland (apparently wearing the same shirt):
Such was our brush with “celebrity”. (He’s a lot bigger in person.)
We went on the Haunted Mansion Ride, reworked for Christmas:
While everyone else went on Indiana Jones, Emmett and I went to go look at the newly revamped Cinderella Sleeping Beauty (thanks, hannah) Castle:
They had redone all of the little “scenes” in the Cinderella Sleeping Beauty story with new technology that allows animation like never before:
After Small World, we ate lunch in Tomorrowland, and then went to Toontown for a bit. Emmett and I decided to go home at that point, and we returned later with the Birthday Girl to celebrate at Rainforest Cafe:
And a birthday song:
A good way to celebrate a birthday. And we were stuffed up to our eyeballs.
Happy Birthday Christina!
wheeeee.. i think you mean sleeping beauty and not cinderella.. i don’t recall a dragon in cinderella 😉
see you sooooon!
Happy birthday, Christina! (And it’s already 7:03 EST – any hope of a Comparison Friday Christmas Edition?)
does this take the place of Comparison Friday? Happy Birthday, Christina … you look all of 18 years old with your volcano, Dr. Wong! Emmett eating and running is the bomb, but a good comparison picture is needed, please!
