Do Red Eggs come from Red Chickens?

So we had a super looong weekend.  Here goes:

Saturday morning the South City Wongs packed it up and headed down to the Cupertino Wongs homestead, aka. Poppyside for waffles and last minute preparations.  We printed out the namecards for the tables and finished up the favors for:

Emmett’s RED EGG AND GINGER PARTY! (For the uninitiated, it’s a party thrown in chinese families, usually at a baby’s 1 month birthday, but we’re a little late)  About 100 of Emmett’s closest friends and family came to Hong Fu in Cupertino to eat and celebrate!

It was all very tiring, and Emmett barely made it through the party.

Emmett got a bunch of very nice presents from his aunties and uncles (and extended aunties and uncles).  Another development from all the picture taking is the development of piggie face, the next generation:

    great looking favors too…you’re welcome; poor Em doesn’t like the flash, but he moves way too much for no flashes too! such a challenge when you’re such a celeb!
