California Dreamin’ on a Winter’s Day (on a winter’s day…)

by on January 31, 2008

One of the values that we picked up from New England is the fact that BBQ can happen at any time during the year. If the grill can be lit up in the snow, then it sure as heck can be lit in the rain.

With that, I give you Lamb 2.0: Rainstorm Lamb. Used pretty much the same recipe as last time, with a slightly larger leg, and possibly higher quality. (Whole Foods vs. Costco)

We were in Cupertino at the Poppyside, and the only covered outdoor area was the porch.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with the way that it turned out. We didn’t serve it right away, so it was a little colder to eat that I would have liked. The finished product:

Now, to invest in some mint jelly.

pepper jelly is even better! and if you make a paste of ko chee chong with sugar and soy sauce and sake, and slather it on the lamb, you got yourself a tasty meal and delish fingers to lick!
