Oops. It always pays to call ahead…

RENO, Nev. (AP)
_ The field trip was a fiasco. So says a school official in Reno,
Nevada, after four bus-loads of students arrived at a locked theme
park. The kids from O’Brien Middle School were supposed to enjoy the
day at Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo, California, as a reward for
good grades. But no one bothered to check the park’s schedule. After
the four-hour bus ride, the kids found the gates at Six Flags locked
tight. School officials say the 50-dollar trip fee will be refunded.
The tour company that arranged the trip is promising to pick up the tab
for the next one.
