so, we’re registering… and I come across this:

To
create the ideal chicken roaster, esteemed French cookware maker Staub
used the bird itself for inspiration. The resulting roaster, designed
to accommodate a whole or cut-up chicken, is a charming oven–to–table
piece. Because its construction is enameled cast iron, heat is retained
and distributed evenly – ideal for the slow cooking poultry requires.
Use the roaster for browning and stewing chicken on the stovetop or
roasting it in the oven. Unique basting spikes on the lid drip juices
over the meat, producing moist, tender results. After roasting, the pot
can be transferred to the stovetop for reducing sauces and making
gravies. 4 3/4-qt. cap.; 14 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ x 9″ high. A Williams-Sonoma
exclusive.

Absolutely hilarious.  (We’re not registering for it, though. )

**Edit: It also comes in black!  It’s like a stealth chicken!

  1. you may not be registered for it, but you know you are gonna get like 4-5 of em now as a cruel joke. if you get extra’s hook it up with a stealthy chicken

  2. Isn’t this the kind of chicken roaster to make that stuff you drink after you have your baby to reguvenate oneself? – how come your xanga doesn’t have more knitting pictures?

  3. That’s right no need to register for them. We have 2 packed away in the garage. I’ll put it in my will. I’m pretty sure they were wedding gifts too. Oops, I hope whoever gave it to us isn’t reading this comment!!!
