Seriously, people…

What kind of world do we live in where things like this can happen?

TOKYO (Reuters) – A giant white radish that won the hearts of a
Japanese town by valiantly growing through the urban asphalt was in
intensive care at a town hall in western Japan on Thursday after being
slashed by an unknown assailant.

No one (or thing) is safe anymore.  End the violence. (step down off soapbox.)

Rest of the story here.

In other news, I’ve been toying with the idea of getting one of these as my next compy:

Arguments for: better graphics, video, sound, and memory management.
Arguments against: cost, all my software is PC, networking

  1. get what i am getting! the powerbook 12″!!!

  2. ahhhh converting to the good side nate… go mac’s…

  3. MAC’s are the best ever… you should get a powerbook man… i was the 2nd at my church to get a mac…now there arealmost 10… including the church’s G5 =oD

  4. nate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I’m not going to talk about MACs because I’m too much into suffering to get one. MACs are too easy to use. Software is too easy to install. Graphics and interface are too intuitive and too aesthetic pleasing.Instead I just want to mention my personal giant root vegetable encounter: A while back, we were weeding our front yard we uncovered a giant turnip. It was about 12 inches across and about 15 inches long (just the solid root part .. not including the root hairs and the leaves)Last summner, in roughly the same spot Jon uncovered another one also pretty big… I think our yard is kinda weird … seems to attract giant subterranean veggies!

  6. Your mom, and my O.m. (other mother, as she puts it)is SO RANDOM
